E Business-Integration of Service Oriented Computing

Question: Discuss about theE Business-Integration of Service Oriented Computing. Answer: Introduction E-business is witnessing tremendous evaluation due to significant shaking in the business world with new technologies such as web based computing and service-based computing. In order to meet up these technological as well as economic challenges, e-business companies have to reshape their business model in this competitive edge. This report focuses on the integration of service based computing and web based computing in e-business. In addition, ISYS301 enterprise system integration is also evaluated in the following section. Integration of Service-Oriented Computing in e-business Service Oriented Computing: It utilizes business services to support rapid and distributed applications in the diverse environment. Extended service-based architecture provides the opportunities to coordinate and compose several business applications to manage them for its best uses. Integration of these systems in e-business are evaluated as follows Service Oriented Computing Integration of New Technology In E-Business Definitions Implementation Process Information System Information system and its related technologies provide opportunities to the business managers to improve productivity level with maximum profit by making impactful decisions (Dr Papazoglou 2012). The key technologies used to develop information system are communications and networking. The network consists of network cards, hubs, web servers, operating systems and data servers. These technologies help to develop new ideas regarding business products and services (Papazoglou and Georgakapoulos 2003). New products can be developed through CAD (Computer Aided Design) tools by managing the information technologies and systems. Final products are distributed over the internet and information regarding the new products can be exchanged through the computer network and telecommunication medium which are the parts of the information system (Papazoglou and Ribbers 2006). Software Engineering Integration of software system and technologies enable the business owners to make the business advanced and to meet customers needs satisfactorily. One of the most useful software which can be used in e-business is ERP (Enterprise Resource Software) (Papazoglou and Ribbers 2006). ERP based software can be developed from OLAP (Online Analytical Processing), application components, batch components and database components. Integrated ERP automatically interacts with the suppliers and customers so that logistic and procurement operations of the organization can be enhanced. Distributed Systems Distributed system plays a major role to keep the entire e-business secure from unauthorized and criminal activities. Web server is the major component of distributed system which is operated by two computers. The mail server sends and receives messages from the customers and the mailing list server monitors and prioritizes customers interests. XML Technologies XML technology helps to separate the business transactions from hardware, software and application architecture. XML is a software language which can be used on an open technical platform which enables the organization to exchange EB (Electronic Business) data in the application to human, human to application and application to human environments. Web Based Computing Web based applications offer innovative products and enhanced quality of services to be distributed over the internet platform. Web based computing uses computing resources such as servers, networks, program applications and services which help to reduce product cost and increase system quality (Papazoglou and Ribbers 2006). It has seen that the field of ESI is continuously developing and as a consequence, the previous technology becomes outdated. Despite of these evolution, there are several concepts that continuously gaining importance. In this context, it can be said that ESI is mainly aims to align the information system with strategic business objectives by the use of advanced techniques and methods (Dr Papazoglou 2012). This helps to mitigate e-business issues related to process modeling, workflow modeling and supply chain management. Conclusion Conclusively it can be stated that service based computing and its associated technologies play a significant positive role to enhance the effectiveness of e-business into another level. Various technologies of service-oriented computing such as information systems, XML technologies, Web based computing, distributed systems and software engineering have advantages which can increase economic growth as well as can achieve higher customer satisfaction. Furthermore, integration of ISYS301 unit in e-business enables the authorities to monitor the business issues related to the software application, information system management, and many others.
